Window Cleaning
Your screens are collected and taken outside where they will be scrubbed with a dry brush that will restore their original shine. This is an important step in the cleaning process, as screens that are clean attract the least amount of dirt after they are returned to the clean window. Clean screens also allow moisture to pass through onto the glass without collecting dirt along the way. Clean screens are essential in order for windows to maintain their cleanliness.
We clean your tracks by first loosening the debris with a brush and wiping out all of the dirt with a damp cloth. Many windows have weather stripping on back of the movable side of the window and this is cleaned as well. We even remove the dirt under the movable side of slider windows and under the crank-out mechanisms in casement windows. All parts of the window frame and tracks are then dried with a clean cloth.
The cleaning of the glass is always the final touch to the window cleaning process. We will first scrub the glass portion of the window with our green window cleaning solution. Then with one smooth motion, we will use our squeegee to take the cleaning solution off the glass. If any stubborn debris is remaining, we will repeat the process until the glass is perfectly clean. We always get face to face with the windows to ensure optimum results. Once the edges are detailed, the cleaning of the glass is complete.
